Grand Canyon Explorer

The unofficial
Grand Canyon National Park homepage

The Grand Canyon is truly a spectacle to behold and offers a bounty of outdoor recreational opportunities. A well planned trip will enhance your vacation experience and the Grand Canyon Explorer Web site is your one stop guide to exploring all there is to do at the Grand Canyon.

Bob Ribokas, the energy behind Grand Canyon Explorer, is currently a Bostonian who yearns to live near the Canyon: "I am really quite happy with my present position but I might be persuaded to leave it if something interesting became available in the Northern Arizona, Southern Utah, or the Four Corners area. Everyone has their price and mine is the Grand Canyon... I admit that I am addicted."

You'll become addicted too . . .

(In 1978 I returned to The Grand Canyon and made 50+ hikes into the Canyon during the 10 months I was there. A favorite was a one day trip to the Colorado River and back, down the Kaibab Trail to Phantom Ranch and up the Bright Angel Trail past Indian Gardens.)
